Last May 25, 2021, the Alliance for the Family Foundation Inc. (ALFI) was invited as a resource speaker in the House of Representatives Committee on Youth and Sports Development hearing on the bills providing a National Policy for Preventing Teenage/ Adolescent Pregnancies.
ALFI’s opposition to the bills was delivered by Mrs. Rizalina Medina, mother of six teenage children, asserting the constitutionally guaranteed natural and primary right and duty of parents in rearing the youth for civic efficiency and the development of moral character.
The bills appear to be an imposition of the State on the primary right and duty of parents to educate and inform their children on matters pertaining to human sexuality and contraception, which should not be allowed.
